Consultations

We have consultation rooms at Settle and Bentham for companion animals as well as offering on-site livestock  examinations for farm animals at our Settle surgery.

Diagnosis

We have digital x-ray machines on site and have also invested in portable X-ray facilities.

We are also able to offer:

• Ultrasonic dental equipment
• Portable linear ultrasound scanners
• Endoscopes

Our in-house laboratories give us many facilities including:

• In-house blood analyser with results within the hour
• In-house microscopy for routine urine analysis and skin investigations for mites /mange, worm and fluke egg counts
• Many table-top tests (e.g. for virus identification)

Treatment

We have two operating areas and a prep room at Settle plus kennelling and in-patient facilities.

Areas at Settle dedicated to farm animals including a lambing room and intensive calf therapy room.

Support

We offer competitive rates for annual vaccinations and health checks to ensure your pet stays healthy as well as specific talks and regular diet clinics. Pet health plans are available to help spread the cost of your pet's routine preventative healthcare with additional discounts.

Pet food including the Hill's Vet Essentials range, and accessories are also available for purchase from the reception at our Settle surgery.

Regular newsletters, fact sheets, and insurance information are also produced, much of which is available here on our website for your convenience.
