HORSE HEALTH PLANS

We are pleased to be able to tell you about the all new Dalehead Horse Health Plans. There are 3 different plans to select from, enabling you as an owner to pick the one which satisfies your individual requirements . You have the choice of simply keeping your horse’s dentistry and vaccinations up to date or going further and having a more comprehensive health assessment with a full blood screening. We hope that with the 3 plans we have put together every owner should find one plan that is suitable for their horse’s needs.

On purchasing your horse’s Health Plan you will receive a letter detailing which plan you have chosen and telling you exactly what is included. You will also receive a Horse Health Plan Record Book to keep with your horse’s other documentation (i.e. passport and registration.) This record will create a full history of your horse’s care and the vet will complete relevant sections at each annual visit. (You must present this to the vet at the visit so they can complete it accurately.) There will also be sections for you to complete yourself so you may have a relevant and accurate record of your horses vaccinations, dentals and general health to keep for life.

Plan B

• Worm egg counts for the year
• Annual blood test for Tapeworm
• Annual full blood screen
• Fly repellent (x 2 bottles)

£14.25 per month

Plan C

• Annual Visit
• Annual vaccination
• Annual dental examination and tooth rasp
• Annual full health check and clinic examination
• Worm egg counts for the year
• Wormer pack for the year*
• Annual full blood screen
• Fly Repellent (x2 bottles)

* The wormer pack contains all the wormers required (for 1 x 600kg horse) for 1 year as part of a professionally advised plan.

£18.75 per month

Once you have chosen the suitable plan for your horse, you can organize your annual visit at a time that is convenient for you. We ask that you make your booking at least 2 weeks in advance and we will endeavour to accommodate you with your preferred time and date.

The health plans are designed to be paid for on a monthly basis by standing order making it easier for you to budget for your horse’s veterinary care over a twelve month period. The health plan is not transferable but should you need to cancel for any reason a refund will be given.
